UBC Choir

At UBC we enjoy an effective and soul-stirring music program – centered around the timeless Christian songs and hymns that have encouraged Christians through the ages. We focus primarily on classic Christian music that presents a high view of God and has stood the test of time. Whether you love to sing or listen, we’d love for you to be a part of our musical family.

The Vine Kidz Ministry

Children are important at United Baptist Church! We believe that the Spirit of the Lord is hovering over the face of our children’s ministry and transforming it into a training ground that moves children into spiritual leadership – not only in their adult years – but as children! Our Kidz lead prayers and worship and move in the power and wisdom of the Spirit. The Vine meets on Wednesday evenings from 6:30 to 7:30 in The Vine Club Room in the Sunday School Hall. We follow the Gaston County School schedule, so we don’t meet if school is not in session. Parents are always welcome to join us for any of our Bible-based lessons, which are followed by biblical games and crafts. Come grow with The Vine!

Glory Riders Senior Adult Ministry

Our Senior Adult ministry has been revitalized under the leadership of Dale Nichols and Jimmy Meek. Please come out and join us on one of our fun outings. We look forward to seeing you!

UBC Wood Ministry

As winter approaches each year, our men gear up to provide warmth to the community through our wood ministry, under the leadership of Greg Price. If you or someone you know is in need of this vital fuel source this winter, or if you have a fallen tree you’d like to donate to this ministry, please contact the church office at 704-824-2866. And if you’d love to join us as we split and stack wood, we would love to have you!

Brotherhood and WMU

Our Men’s and Women’s Ministries meet the second Sunday of the month at 4:30 p.m. Please join us for refreshing times of fellowship and service.

West Virginia Missions, Iaeger (Pronounced: Yaeger), WV

We are honored to partner with Little Sparrow Ministries to serve the people of West Virginia. Our missions team, headed by Mike Sukhram, travels to West Virginia at least twice a year to participate in a variety of projects – from construction work, to decorating cakes and cooking, to delivering kitchen utensils, clothes, and other everyday necessities to those in need. Please pray for our ministry to some of America’s poorest people and consider joining us as we support the “least of these” in our own country.
