Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m.

OUR MISSION: Children are important at United Baptist Church, and our mission at The Vine Kidz ministry is to partner with parents to equip our children to be spiritual leaders – not just in the future, but now! Our greatest joy is watching our kidz grow spiritually, emotionally and physically as we nurture them in a loving, safe and fun environment that is grounded in biblical truth.

OUR PROMISE: We consider it a privilege to minister to your children, and we want you to know that when your children are with us, they are in safe, capable, and caring hands.

We encourage you to join us in The Vine Club House to experience first-hand all the wonderful things God is doing through The Vine and United Baptist Church. The Vine meets in the Sunday School wing of UBC’s main building each Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. We follow Gaston County School’s schedule, so if school is in session, we’ll be here!

WHAT WE DO: Our weekly activities focus on Bible-based lessons, which are followed by games and crafts.

Through our puppet ministry, our kidz enjoy the chance to lead in worship during Sunday morning services through short plays and songs. These performances provide opportunities for our kids to learn valuable, practical life skills, such as public speaking and time delegation – as well as opportunities for spiritual leadership. “…and a little child shall lead them.” Isaiah 6:11

We also volunteer throughout the year at outreach events here at the church. This year, our kidz welcomed more than 250 guests to see for themselves the good news about Jesus at our fall festival. In addition, we partner with other ministries to better our community
